Our building services team worked closely with LW Architects to refurbish and upgrade the lobby area and main restaurant at the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre located near Dubai International Airport.
This hotel is more than 25 years old and, as the original documentation was not available, we undertook visual and above-ceiling surveys to determine whether existing systems had the capacity to service the new layout. The integrity of existing installations was tested and some upgrades specified.
Unsurprisingly, the upgrade of the Yalumba restaurant made new demands on the building services systems, and these we carefully managed to ensure minimal impact on the base provisions of the hotel as a whole.
