At two university buildings, one on each of Zayed University’s campuses, we undertook building services remedial works to change the uses of multiple laboratories, workshops and studios to suit different subjects.
New key elements, such as specialist ventilation and exhaust arrangements, fume hoods and acid-resistant drainage, were carefully co-ordinated with existing installations, which had to be maintained in working order during construction in order to limit disruption to occupied areas of the buildings.
