Peyman Mohajer founded WME with an office in Dubai in 2011. The company celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2021. WME currently has over 550 staff based in the UAE, KSA, India, Singapore and London, and in the last 12 months, its MEP headcount increased by 25%. To facilitate growth plans, it invested in new offices in Mumbai, London and Singapore and significantly expanded its delivery team in Bangalore with a collective focus on digital design and BIM automation.

Peyman said, “2021 saw the opening of the UAE, Austria, Luxembourg and Emirates Pavilions at EXPO on which WME’s MEP team worked successfully and an increase in LDC projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia where highly experienced design managers are leading multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver world-class projects.”

Nicholas Byczynski, MEP Director, said “We are currently engaged in MEP projects covering the full range of the built environment, and our licences in the UAE and Saudi Arabia also enable us to act as AOR (Architect of Record). All projects are delivered in BIM and an innovative internal research programme developed processes and workflows that accelerated the delivery process and minimised errors.”

In 2022, WME will continue to work towards its goal of becoming a net zero business and providing ever-more sustainable design solutions to clients worldwide.
