WME’s structural engineering has reached the next level — using ATENA for greater efficiency in structural design solutions on more complex geometries.
At WME, we are embarking on a new strategy in nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structures using ATENA (Advanced Tool for Engineering Nonlinear Analysis) General Structural analysis software.
ATENA is based on advanced reinforced concrete theory and simulates real behavior of concrete and reinforced concrete structures, including concrete cracking, crushing, bond failure and reinforcement yielding, etc. The software is excellent for verification of reinforcement design in critical sections and helps discover additional load carrying capacities in the structure, offering further opportunities for greater efficiency in our design work. ATENA is a very useful addition to our standard design tools.
