Our client, Sobha Developments, is constructing 18 low-rise residential towers accommodating 4,200 medium-range apartments in Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid City.
WME is providing structural, building services and vertical transport engineering, and AV/IT consultancy. Six eight-story towers have reached design completion, and are now on-site, to be sold as the first phase of the project.
Our engineers worked closely with the design team to assess the construction and cost efficiencies of alternative single-level basement solutions to house parking and plant. One combined basement for all six towers has been chosen over the provision of a basement per building.
