OS1 At Sea: Dubai’s Extraordinary Land Reclamation Efforts

Dubai has undertaken several extraordinary land reclamation efforts, with multiple city-sized projects built, under construction or planned on man-made islands in the Arabian Gulf. The Palm, the most established of these massively ambitious projects, is a group of palm-frond-shaped islands, and features a monorail, a road tunnel, and an extensive waterpark resort. Several new tall buildings are under construction in what was open water just 15 years ago. Join this program to learn about the development, planning, marketing and construction of The Palm.
